In March 2012 the firm settled a personal injury action in federal court in White Plains for a woman who had tripped and fallen on a jetway at Newark Airport while returning home after an international flight. The case was governed by the Montreal Convention, a treaty to which the United States is a party. The Convention governs personal injury claims of any airline passengers who are injured during or while departing from or boarding international flights.
