John Ingrassia recently was able to secure a non-alcohol related driving disposition in a local Hudson Valley Justice Court for his client who was charged with Driving While Intoxicated (DWI).
His client held a Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) which was required for the client’s employment. Any alcohol related driving conviction would have resulted in a 1 year revocation of the CDL notwithstanding the fact that the DWI did not occur in a commercial vehicle.
Mr. Ingrassia was able to successfully persuade authorities that the circumstances of the case, including the reason for the stopping of his client’s motor vehicle and the ensuing investigation leading to his client’s arrest, as well as the client’s lack of criminal history warranted the agreed to disposition.
