Attorney
Emma Schoenberger is a criminal defense attorney with experience handling a wide variety of cases. She excels at picking apart the prosecutor’s evidence and highlighting weaknesses in their case during negotiations, in written motions, and at hearings and trial.
Prior to joining Larkin Ingrassia Andrews, PLLC, Emma worked as a public defender, where she made hundreds of courtroom appearances and represented clients at every stage of criminal proceedings. She is well-versed in bail laws and has successfully argued on behalf of clients facing pre-conviction incarceration. She has argued against the issuance of orders of protection, made numerous sentencing arguments, and represented clients on violations of probation. She has cross-examined police officers at preliminary hearings, successfully argued for suppression at pre-trial hearings, and obtained acquittals at trial.
In addition to being an effective courtroom advocate, Emma is a highly skilled writer. Pre-trial motions are one of the first opportunities for a defendant to tell their side of the story. Emma capitalizes on that opportunity and writes motions that become the foundation for trial strategy.
Emma received her undergraduate degree from Colgate University and her Juris Doctor from the University of Pennsylvania. She considers being a lawyer a great honor and, at every stage of a criminal case, her priority is defending her clients’ rights.
